Da Nang is a perfect blend of city & beach life. A miles-long beach overlooking a beautiful sea on one side & sky-high luxurious hotels on the other. The city is in the middle of Vietnam & near to two of the best locations in Vietnam which are in UNESCO world heritage list Hue & Hoi An.
So, Da Nang is many ways a connecting bridge to reach these two beautiful places. While traveling in Vietnam end to end, skipping Da Nang experience is not a viable option. This city was the last leg of my trip & I was thrilled by the beauty of the place.
Da Nang City:
The construction of the city is pretty clean & riding a bike is really fun here. Clean roads, beautiful architectures, dragon bridge & perfect sitting areas. The city sports everything to help you relax. If you have a special liking for luxurious resorts. Don't worry you about it as you will find it in the nearest corner.Da Nang city is located on either side of Han River which offers a great evening view. One can sit on the riverfront cafes & enjoy evenings. Once the sun is down, the nightlife of Da Nang starts to throb. The lines of pubs & bars open up & crowd starts to build up. The party extends to the wee hours of the night. Search for the best option & enjoy your night while dancing to some trance music.
A Dragon:
A unique bridge which is known as Dragon Bridge is a highly famous structure in Da Nang. The dragon bridge is shaped in the form of Dragon & to your amusement this dragon even breath fire during weekends at a specific time. So, brace your self for some fireworks while in Da Nang.
City has lots of attractions like lady buddha which is a beautifully crafted structure overlooking the city. It seems that she is showering her blessings on the city & its people. The location is crowded with locals & tourists who are seeking both view & blessings. Marble mountains a group of peaks situated at half an hour drive from Da Nang is a famous tourist attraction & is worth a visit. Especially the caves which are unique & beautiful.
Vietnam street food needs special mention. Delicious street food is a must try & even Da Nang won't disappoint on this aspect. There are numbers of Indian restaurants which are pretty famous in Da Nang.

Renting a motorbike becomes a must here as the beach is bit far from the centre, it is hard to find relevant shops & walking too long distances is very tiring. On the other hand, It is easy to rent a motorbike, in fact, easy to drive as well. If you have visited Ho Chi Minh City you can get the idea of how difficult it is to drive a motorbike in crowded places where the sense of traffic is next to none. So, choose the best option. If you are not comfortable with riding you can download app Grab & book a motorbike taxi which is an easy way to commute in Da Nang.
Hoi An & Hue
Lately, an image was circulated in every travel community, two palms holding a bridge on it. This rare image is of Ba Na hills a fantasy park near Da Nang. The visit here has reached new heights after the circulation of the image making it one more reason to visit this beautiful town. Also, in the vicinity are two amazing towns Hoi An & Hue. These two are UNESCO world heritage site & is often one of the reasons to visit Da Nang.Should You Visit Da Nang Solo?:
Da Nang can serve as a great resting point in your journey. Located in the center of Vietnam the place is perfect to just sit & relax around the beach side. I would recommend visiting this city for at least a couple of days & have the feel of the place. The charm will have some impact on your life for sure. Also, there are many small activities to be carried out while staying in the city. So, enjoy your time here.Extra Information:
I don't boost myself as a terrific photographer. I click average pics & try to show what the place actually is, without any photoshop; the way it should be. I use an iPhone 6s which has decent camera compared to today's standards. So, I would recommend you buying a great camera phone to take some breathtaking pics.Apart from a phone camera, I use GoPro an adventure camera to shoot video & click photos. The product is pretty handy & captures mind blogging videos. GoPro is easy & handy to use, which makes it a must buy.
